This page explains what data the Yozma app and website work with. Yozma is currently in testing.
What stays on your computer
- Your voice is never written to disk. It stays in memory and is wiped once the text is ready. After an error it stays in memory for up to 5 minutes so you can retry.
- Dictation history. Only on your computer, encrypted. You choose how long it stays, or keep none.
- Dictionary, shortcuts, settings. On your computer.
Data needed to make it work
- Voice and text. Sent over an encrypted connection to transcribe and for any editing you turn on, and words from your dictionary may be sent too. Our server does not keep them.
- Account. Your name and email, to sign in.
- Counters. Word count and duration, for the limit. Not the text.
- Setup questions. Answering is optional, and answers are deleted with your account.
- Payment. Order number, plan and amount. Card details never reach us. Payment records stay without your name after the account is deleted, because tax rules require it.
- Crash reports. If the app crashes, the version and the place in the code may be sent. Text, voice and dictionary are not.
To help you, the Yozma team can see account details, plan and word count. It cannot see what you said.
We use trusted service providers for this work, and they may be outside Uzbekistan. On closed-test accounts a provider may use what is sent to improve its product, and testers are told this separately. By using Yozma you agree to this.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
- The app does not read your screen. The keyboard hook only reacts to the dictation key and Yozma’s own keys, and does not record what you type.
- No voice is being collected now. If voice is ever requested to improve models, that will need your separate, explicit consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Your rights
- You can clear your history in the app at any time.
- You can delete your account in the app. Your name, email and sign-in records are deleted. The consent log stays as evidence, in a form that does not point to you.
- For questions or requests, write to the address below.
Age
People under 18 use the service only with the consent of a parent or guardian.
